I only recently started playing pickleball and began with a $50 paddle. I am from Europe and was a bit sceptical ordering from a US brand but the Tsunami actually lives up to the hype. The paddle feels very stable on defense and I can put a lot of cut on my backhand slice. Finish on the carbon looks clean, no weird edges or glue marks. Shipping took a bit longer than expected, thats why I dont give full 5 stars, but the paddle itself is really, really good.

Been using the Tsunami in our local club for about a month. It works well in almost every situation, soft game, drives, serves, you name it. Not the absolute most powerful thing out there but more than enough to finish when the ball sits up. What I really like is how forgiving the face is, mishits are not punished as much as with my last paddle. For rec and league play its a very solid choice.

I like almost everything about this paddle. Control on dinks is great and I get easy depth on my serves without swinging like crazy. Only thing I am not in love with is the stock grip, feels a little thick for my hand and a bit squared. I will probably re grip it with something thinner. Apart from that it plays super stable and feels very solid on blocks.

been stuck in the same group for a while and after switching to the tsunami and doing some drilling i finally feel like i can hang with the stronger players at my courts. my resets are so much more reliable and i get extra action on my slice serve. the paddle is def on the heavier side so if you like super light stuff maybe not for you. for me the extra stability is exactly what i needed.

Build quality on this thing is excellent. No dead spots, edge guard is clean and the handle feels very solid. I have hit the ground a few times going for low balls and there are only minor scuffs. Performance wise it is a true control paddle with enough pop for finishing. If you are looking for a cheap beginner paddle this is not it, but if you want something you can play leagues and tournaments with, go for it.

Honestly I bought it first because of the design. The carbon weave and the air channels just look cool. But after a few games I realized it actually fits my style perfectly. I like to drive first and then crash the net and the Tsunami lets me do both. Heavy topspin from the baseline and then soft hands in the kitchen. Price is on the higher side but for me it was worth it.

this paddle has a HUGE sweet spot. with my last paddle every off center hit felt dead. with the tsunami even when i miss the middle a bit the ball still goes over with control. hands battles at the net feel a lot easier now. only thing i would change is maybe a little thinner grip, but thats just preference and i might regrip it later.

I am a 60+ player and mostly care about consistency. The Tsunami gave me exactly that. The surface grabs the ball just enough so I can shape my drops and keep them low. At the same time I do not feel like I have to swing very hard to get the ball deep on serves. Balance feels slightly head heavy but in a good way for me. Very impressed so far.

only been playing pickleball for about 8 months and this is my 3rd paddle. the tsunami felt like a lot in the beginning, big head, more weight, very grippy face. after a couple of clinics and drilling with it i wont go back. my serve and third shot got way more dangerous and people on my courts keep asking what paddle it is with the holes on top. if you are brand new there are probably easier paddles, but if you want to grow into something this is great.

I picked up the Tsunami after seeing it at a local tournament and it honestly made a bigger difference than I expected. I used to float a lot of thrid balls long, now I can drop them in the kitchen way more consistently. The paddle has a big sweet spot and the touch on dinks feels super soft, but when I step on a drive it still has plenty of pop. It does swing a little heavier than my old paddle, but at the net it still feels quick thanks to the cutouts. Overall really happy with it and it is my main paddle now.

The biggest thing I noticed with the Tsunami is how soft it feels in the kitchen. My partner keeps telling me my drops look way cleaner now. I can still speed it up when I need to, but where it really shines is on resets from the transition zone. It just eats pace and lets me put the ball back low. Very happy with the buy.

i switched from a lighter control paddle and at first the tsunami felt too heavy and too hot. first two days i was sending everything deep. after about 3 or 4 sessions i adjusted my swing and now i actually like the extra mass. my blocks sit shorter, my dinks dont pop up so much and i win more hand battles at the net. spin is solid, not crazy but more than enough. if you are willing to get through the learning curve its a really nice stick.

What surprised me is how much power it still has on serves and overheads. Spin is very good too, my cross court rolls jump a lot more than before. Only small downside for me, after two long sessions my arm feels it a bit because of the weight, but I also used a very light paddle before. For intermediate and up, this thing is a beast.
