The KOBO Creator Rewards Program gives approved KOBO Affiliates the opportunity to earn a 50% Creator Credit after purchasing an eligible KOBO paddle and creating approved original content featuring their genuine experience with the product.
KOBO does not provide complimentary paddles in exchange for reviews. Instead, we reward creators who follow through, use our products, and publish meaningful content for the pickleball community.

How the Program Works
1. Become a KOBO Affiliate
You must first be accepted into the KOBO Affiliate Program and remain an active affiliate in good standing. Apply to Become a KOBO Affiliate
2. Apply for the Creator Rewards Program
Submit your social media accounts, content examples, and the KOBO paddle you would like to feature. Each application is reviewed individually. Do not purchase a paddle for this program until you have received written approval from KOBO.
3. Purchase Your Approved Paddle
After your application is approved, purchase the eligible KOBO paddle identified in your approval email at the regular retail price. The order must be placed using the same name and email address associated with your affiliate account unless KOBO approves an alternative arrangement.
4. Create and Publish Original Content
Use the paddle and create authentic content based on your own playing experience. Your approval email will outline any required content deliverables. Content may include:
- Match play
- First-hit impressions
- Coaching tips or drills
- Product demonstrations
- Paddle comparisons
- Tournament or club content
- Pickleball lifestyle content
- Other original creative concepts
We encourage creators to use their own voice and style. Content should feel like a genuine experience—not a scripted advertisement.
5. Submit Your Published Content
After your content is live, submit the published links along with your full name, affiliate email or code, KOBO order number, social media profile links, and published content links. Submit Your Content
6. Receive Your 50% Creator Credit
Once the submitted content is reviewed and approved, KOBO will issue a Creator Credit equal to 50% of the eligible paddle's product purchase price, issued as KOBO Store Credit for use toward future purchases. Taxes, shipping charges, gift cards, and other non-product charges are not included when calculating the credit.
Who Can Apply?
The KOBO Creator Rewards Program is intended for creators who are approved KOBO Affiliates in good standing, primarily create pickleball-related content on social media, publish content consistently, produce clear original videos or photography, maintain a positive and professional online presence, demonstrate authentic interaction with their audience, and can provide links to previous work and active social media accounts.
Follower count alone does not determine acceptance. We consider the overall quality, consistency, authenticity, and relevance of each creator's content.
What Makes Great KOBO Content?
Show the Paddle in Action
Let viewers see the paddle during real play, drills, practice sessions, or competition.
Share Your Genuine Experience
Explain what you noticed while playing. Describe the feel, performance, response, or design features that stood out to you.
Tell a Story
Strong content takes the viewer through an experience. Show the paddle, play with it, and explain what made the experience meaningful.
Help Other Players
Give your audience useful information. Explain the type of player or playing style the paddle may suit.
Be Authentic
You are not required to make only positive statements. Your content should reflect your honest experience and comply with applicable advertising-disclosure requirements.
Present KOBO Professionally
The product, KOBO name, and branding should be shown accurately and respectfully. Product designs, logos, or performance claims should not be altered or misrepresented.
How Content Is Evaluated
KOBO reviews each submission based on originality and authenticity, video/audio/image quality, storytelling and clarity, product visibility and presentation, value provided to the pickleball community, compliance with approved content requirements, and overall alignment with the KOBO brand. Content is not approved based solely on views, likes, follower count, or sales performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I receive 50% off when I order the paddle?
No. The paddle is purchased at the regular retail price after your application is approved. The 50% Creator Credit is earned only after the required content has been created, published, submitted, and approved by KOBO.
Is the Creator Credit a cash refund?
No. The reward is issued as KOBO Store Credit toward eligible future purchases. It is not redeemable for cash, transferable, or applied retroactively to the original order.
Does KOBO provide complimentary paddles for reviews?
No. The Creator Rewards Program allows approved creators to earn a reward after completing and publishing approved content.
Can I purchase the paddle before applying?
Purchases made before written program approval may not qualify. Apply first and wait for confirmation from KOBO before placing the order.
How soon must I publish my content?
Unless otherwise stated in your approval email, approved content should be published and submitted within 30 days of receiving the paddle. Contact KOBO before the deadline if unexpected circumstances prevent you from completing the content on time.
Can I use a discount code when purchasing the paddle?
Unless KOBO confirms otherwise in writing, the paddle must be purchased at the regular retail price to qualify for the full Creator Credit.
Can I earn more than one Creator Credit?
Creators who successfully complete the program may be considered for future campaigns. Each product and content project requires separate approval.
Is every affiliate automatically accepted?
No. Applications are reviewed individually based on content quality, activity, authenticity, and brand fit.
What happens if my content is not approved?
KOBO may provide reasonable feedback and an opportunity to revise or replace the content. A Creator Credit is issued only after the required content receives final approval.
Important Program Terms
Participation requires advance written approval from KOBO. Only the product identified in the approval email is eligible. One Creator Credit may be issued per approved product and content project unless KOBO agrees otherwise in writing. The Creator Credit is calculated from the eligible paddle's product purchase price and excludes taxes, shipping, gift cards, and other charges. Returned, refunded, cancelled, disputed, or chargeback orders are not eligible. Content must remain publicly accessible for a reasonable period after publication unless KOBO approves its removal. Creators are responsible for making legally required disclosures about their affiliate relationship and Creator Credit. KOBO may reject content that is copied, misleading, offensive, unlawful, low quality, or damaging to KOBO or the pickleball community. All applications, content approvals, and Creator Credits are subject to KOBO's discretion. KOBO may update, pause, or discontinue the program at any time. Changes will not affect Creator Credits already approved in writing.
